A character I played on My Little Pony MUSH from its opening in April 2004; the MUSH mysteriously disappeared a month later, but was restored in April of 2005, and I resumed playing Tincture there until the MUSH closed early in September.

Tincture is a female Pony. She can seem to be somewhat reserved, although this is more to do with shyness and a certain lack of focus than any genuine wish to withdraw from others. She is quite dreamy, and sometimes lost in her own musings to the exclusion of those around her, but she rarely intends rudeness; rather, she finds solace in quiet thought, and finds an excess of loud social activity wearing and indeed puzzling.

Sometimes her sober attitude can put others off, much as she tries to be friendly. However, she is eager to form and keep close friendships, and under those influences can become quite a frolicing creature. If coaxed, Tincture will even share philosophies and spin tales, but at root she finds herself best in quiet listening.

Tincture's Description:

Tincture's leaf-green eyes gleam, their facets catching the light and seeming to highlight this pony's usual soft smile. There's a hint of extra pink on her cheeks; the rest of her face and body is a soft pinkish grey.

Her mane shades from grey-green through a brighter yellowish tone, salmon pink, and finally pale violet. Her tail is the same subtle mix of colors. Both her mane and tail are a fraction shorter than average, giving Tincture a slightly scruffy look, especially when her mane manages to flop over her eyes.

Her symbol is clearly marked on either side of her rump: a maple and an oak leaf, both partway through their color change from green to Autumn's red-orange.
